If I had to choose any E&P to go to, this would be the one. It's clean, the employees are friendly and the salad bar selections are better than any Pittsburgh E&P I've been to. I don't know why there are so many differences between the city Eat 'n Park's and the ones you find in Belle Vernon and Uniontown, but they're noticeable. The various pasta salads on the city's salad bars all have some sort of meat in them such as bacon bits and ham cubes which are both available on the bar by themselves, so there's really no point in adding them. Not to mention the pasta is always overcooked. The BV location also offers mini potato cakes, corn fritters, seasoned homefries and apple cinnamon fritters that the city breakfast buffets lack. Keep in mind that this is not gourmet fare, but a place to go for quick, cheap eats.

Stopped in for breakfast and was greatly disappointed. My husband and I had been out and about rather early and decided on a sit down breakfast instead of a drive thru one. Place was pretty much empty at 7:30am on a Thursday and the breakfast buffet was up amd ready to rock and roll. So instead of trying the new cinnamon roll french toast I figured I'd go with the breakfast buffet because it had healthier choices and hubby agreed. The coffee was hot and dark but smelled like a wet ashtray and tasted just as bad. The waitress nice and attentive but seemed confused as to why we hadn't drank up our coffee, neither of us had the heart to tell her the coffee was awful. Last 2 times we ate breakfast there coffee was awful as well. Bacon was undercooked, no crunch to it, the potatoes were cold and bland , the scrambled eggs tasteless, the Belgian waffle was nice and fluffy , but the french toast strips were flat as if they had been ran over with a steamroller. The watermelon was seeded, which normally means sweeter , this was rather tart, the pineapple was fresh and sweet as were the oranges....all things considered it was a very unsatisfying experience from a place that used to provide better. Rather sad and after this morning it will be a long time before we return for any meal at this location.

It's okay if your hungry sometimes it's a hit or miss on service when it's not busy I feel like you get the crappy us service and you shouldn't and when it's too busy doesn't seem like they have enough people

A SWPA staple. Eat n Park isn't exceptionally good, but there isn't anything quite like it. Somewhere between a Dennys with a Soup and Salad bar, along with an in house bakery. Try the pot roast, grilled stickies ala mode, and a smiley face cookie. This Eat N Park has a drive through pick up window for call ahead take out orders!

Food was mediocre at best. The burger I ordered with their own brand of "special sauce" was really the best thing we ordered. We sent one appetizer back (their spinach dip--it was absolutely inedible) and thankfully, we were not charged for it. Staff was nice enough, food was just........not worth the money. We won't be back.

This is a chain restaurant extending through most of Western Pennsylvania. It is very popular, and just about everyone in the area has been to one of their locations plenty of times. They are very famous for their Smiley cookies, and for being a diner-style restaurant. For lunch I had the Reuben sandwich with a cup of chicken noodle soup. The soup was a real delight since they use egg noodles which makes their soup quite tasty. The Reuben wasn't bad. I was impressed with the sweetness of the sauerkraut, but otherwise disappointed with the sauce making it fall short of being a good sandwich. The place is good for small groups and children of all ages.
